FGI · Overfrequency / Underfrequency Protection
Overfrequency and underfrequency FGI units are designed to be integrated in systems where a stable frequency value must be achieved. Therefore, a permanent equilibrium between generation and consumption must exist. Overfrequency and underfrequency relays will actuate whenever this equilibrium is altered.
